They moved the room to small area right by the main entrance. The old room wasn't great, but at least it was reasonably quiet and there was space to move around. Now it's noisy, congested, and smoky thanks to all the second-hand smoke drifting in from the main casino floor. Also, the lighting is terrible and several tables are located right below air vents. This room really, really sucks. I was staying at IP and had planned on playing there exclusively during my trip, but I decided to switch my play to Excalibur instead after a few unpleasant hours spent in this "room."
The competition at IP is still soft. There are a few regulars that show up, but it's not like "regulars" at 2/4 are anything to be afraid of.
The dealers were okay. Occasional misdeals occurred, but no big deal.
Drinks came fast and frequently. You can definitely get sloshed here.
I found it hard to get on a list, get seated, or get chips. Part of it may have been chaos caused by the relocation, but this room didn't seem well organized.
Well, you still get the $3/hour comp, although I'm sure Harrahs is eventually going to kill that off. The room relocation nixed the other comps. Free coffee? Gone. Cookies? Gone. Sandwiches? Gone.
Personally, I don't think it's worth playing here for $3/hr when there are other much nicer rooms with equally soft competition. I will probably never play here again.
