IP Rooms... better than expected. Dealers worse.

After reading reviews... I though the room would be loud, dank, smoke embedded, and the toilet would run all night. Check-in asked if I want to have a view of strip... I said yes and they then warned me that I the noise from the strip/outside band/bar would be loud.. so I changed my mind at took off-strip room.

Room was clean, sparsely appointed and the king size bed was very comfortable. Toilet worked just fine and we had no problems at all with the room.

Got my players card right away and played a lot of 2-4 LHE in the quiet poker room. Quiet b/c it's out of the way on the 2nd floor. Players were friend, but not drunk enough :( I can to vegas to take the money from the drunks at the table!

The dealers were absolutely the worst dealers on the face of the planet. Your scale of 1-5 does not do them service... I give them a 0.

Only one quality dealer in the whole place, young Asian dude name Rich. Other than him the Asian women dealers were all rude... none of the dealer would follow the action and let other players know it was their turn to act. The short old men dealers were cranky, slow and couldn't figure out the best hand.

Surprisingly only 2 cards ever left the table during the weekend, but I can't count the number of misdeals.

One dealer, Greg, was a fun, but teased the players past the point of good taste. He would also rabbit hunt upon request... and on several occasions got bored, so he would deal the flop and then burn and turn the turn card and the river card face down on the table next to the flop (kind of defeates the purpose of a burn card, don't you think?

All-time messed up deal from Gregg... He deals, then follows action around table, accidentally scoops the BB cards and deals the flop. The BB (who is slightly) tipsy says, "Where are my cards." Gregg says, "Don't worry about it." A couple seconds of silence and Gregg and BB banter back and forth. I tell the BB to call the floor manager. Gregg says, "No, thats not necessary. Don't worry about it. I'll give you 2 dollars out of my pocket". BB doesn't but it.. then Gregg pushes the muck pile to BB and says, "Here... find your cards". Unbelievable!!!! BB looks at them, jokely says, "Ah... none of them would help me out anyway." The hand continues like nothing happened and then the BB tips Gregg 2 dollars. Bizarre.

They seemed to come around pretty regularly and were friendly.

Never had any issues with room.. so who knows. Poker room management was fine, except I don't know how they put up with the dealer antics...

Poker comps were $3/hour... between my wife and I figured we might of earned $80 in comps. You can use comps for anything in hotel, room/food/drinks/shops. Don't know how but when I checked my comps at end of stay.. balance was $750!!!! Don't know how, but didn't ask questions.. paid my hotel bill with it... and still have $450 on the card for next 18months. I'll definately be back!
