Overall room quality at TI is top notch. Autoshufflers in all tables, automated electronic waitlist, player comp tracking at the table, 9 handed tables which allow for more room, comfortable chairs, ability to make you a players card when you sit down at the table, etc. I could go on and on. It is only an 8 table room that spreads 2/4 LHE and 1/3NLHE, and tournaments all the time, but the room vibe, comfort, and quality is superb. It has the best overall atmosphere of ANY poker room in Vegas, and I have played in all of them.
My experience is strictly from playing 1/3NL with a $500 max. The only reason I gave this section a 4 instead of a 5 is becasue I, and a couple other locals, play there regularly. However, being a small room, having only 5-6 regulars total is pretty good. Their clientele is 95%+ tourists staying in the hotel with money to burn. At any given time, 6 of the 9 players will be HORRIBLE, and will donate their stack at most opportunities. 2-3 will be pretty good players that are beatable so long as you are paying attention.
Dealers here are ALL top notch. Kristi, Tall John, Short John, Vance, Rick, Troy, and many many others all bring not only superior dealing skills to the box, but winning, positive personalities that make the tourists and locals alike feel welcome and comfortable. 99.9% of the time the misdeals I witnessed were the players fault. Dealers are all top notch.
Cocktail staff here is solid and usually pretty quick. At times, it can get a little backed up, but that is usually late at night. Always friendly, and drinks are of good casino quality. Very friendly, and remember your name and your drink most of the time.
Management is always the foundation of any good poker room. Fortunately, TI has hit the nail on the head with what is easily the most efficient, competent, and friendly management staff in the city. Chris, the poker room manager, runs a very tight ship, as is evident as soon as you step in their room. Danette, Troy, Perry, Jessica, Michelle, and all others are all very approachable and render decisions fairly and correctly. Like I said, I have played in every single poker room in Vegas, and NONE come even close to replicating the quality of the management staff at TI.
Easily, the best ocmps in the city, at $2 anm hour, uncapped, that can be used in ALL restaurants that TI offers, from Starbucks and Ben and Jerrys to the Steak House and the upscale sushi restaurant, Social House. They also offer high hand jackpots. No one can argue that the comps offered at TI are the most generous in the city, and let me tell you, they add up FAST! I have already enjoyed dinner for two at the Steak House, dinner for 4 at Social HOuse, plus random coffee shops ventures, without paying a dime other then gratuity. Only minor suggestion would be to allow the comps to be used in the gift shop for logo wear or cigarettes. The comps are extremely generous and useful. This is my favorite poker room in the city, and my home base casino, for a reason. I HIGHLY recommend this poker room on your next visit to Vegas, as you will not be disapointed.
