Chilly room, Luke-warm action

This room is nice in that it is sectioned off from the rest of the casino but it was C-O-L-D everytime I went in there. I say this and I'm from Canada. I was most disappointed in cash game selection - only had $2-$4 limit and $1-$3 NL while I was there (Tuesday - Saturday). Nice seats, tables, decor, etc, but after seeing the extravagent Caesars poker room, the quality of TI's poker room cannot possibly warrant a higher rating than average.

A lot of people who haven't played live before. Particularly in the $60 tourneys that run every few hours. I played in 3 of these tourneys and came in 2nd and 3rd (out of the money in the other). Mind you, the players who beat me in the two tourneys that I cashed in claimed to have never played live before. It showed, yet I still couldn't beat them - ha.

Very good dealers. Enforced rules with speed and made few mistakes. Kept control of the games.

Waitresses were very speedy with drink orders and came around often. Most were moderately attractive in their late 30's.

Laid-back and friendly. Not intimidating at all.

$1 per hour on the Mirage/MGM players card. No free food (that I saw). Gave out NFL squares for a variety of high hands in cash games (e.g., pocket AA's, Kings Full, etc)
