Comfortable, home feeling poker room

Great feel. Looks like they are getting rid of the Tangerine felts as one was auctioned off on one of the days I was there. Clean, nice, friendly and a lot of traffic due to the Mystere theater nearby.

Wide range from the drunk tourest to the local shark. At slow times there tend to be more locals then fish.

All of the dealers were friendly and personable.

Average. If you want to get drunck, drink beers. If you want to pee a lot, drink mixed drinks and you won't even get a buzz. I like the later as you don't become a drunk tourist.

I would have rated this better if it hadn't been for a few bad calls by the management during seating. Don't get me wrong. They ran the place well, I didn't like when Perry seated a "local" player before me when I was first on the list. I also didn't like it when a seat was held for someone for over 1/2 hour while there was a list of 5 waiting. This is very bad in my opinion, if there are seats and there are people waiting to play, seat them and don't wait for "local" friends or guest requesting seats for their friends and then holding them for 1/2 hours. Otherwise the managment did a good job and I would have rated them more in the Good range to excellent range.

I think this all ways itself out. They give a great $2hr comp, but the there's no bad beat jackpot, the high hands are "free play" which if used right can probably net you 1/2 of what they are worth. It all balances out to average. It was nice that they had the table felt give away.
