great dealers

Overall the room is very good for a "small room". It's off to the side just a tad away from the casino and at first I didn't think I liked that, however the more I thought about it the more I did like it. It's very easy to find if you coming in from the parking garage as its actually before the casino. It is a very nice room to play in, comfy chairs, nice tables, nice tv's, etc...

As for the vibe, well I got there at 6:30 to play in the 7pm headhunters on Sunday 4-6. At that time they had 3 tables going. There was 2 tables of $1-$3 nl and 1 2/4 limit. I am not really a fan of $1-$3, I am not sure why places that have it don't just make it $1/$2...
Anyways I was the 7th to sign up and with only about 24 players at the 3 tables was thinking, where is everyone?? Guess it must have been dinner because by the time the Headhunters was over the room was 65% full and the feel and vibe went from low key to fun and good times.

At the Headhunters tournment there was really only one strong player. In the very first hand the two of us were the only ones to the flop. I took the hand after the turn and thought he wasn't going to be much of a factor. That thought was way wrong as he was really the best player amongst the ones I played with.
As for the $1/$3 game, I only played for 30 mins before and $30 mins after. The before there seemed to be 2 very good players. The after there was one annoying as @#$% drunk who was just as lucky as he was annoying. None of the other players left much of a mark. However, this was a very limited viewing window. I suppose it should get a harder rating as LVM and a few others from avp were at another table.

nearly perfect. Tried to keep my table of tourists in line as far as talking about the board and/or hand in play. Very pleasant and engageing(sp?). Friendly and witty.
Basically in my mind the ideal dealers. Entertaining but not so much that are taking away from the game.

1 girl working both the room and the slots. I am guessing as fast as she could be but just a tad on the slower side. Drink orders always correct for everyone and she found people as the moved tables.

Meet the poker room manager, him and his staff seemed excellent. They had way better of a handling on the situation with mr drunk guy then I could have ever had.

I really have no idea. I just wanted to give it a higher overall score because I think it deserves it.

In a nutshell... if I lived in Vegas I would split my time between here and MGM grand
