Lives up to its Reputation

Overall the quality of the room was good. Personally I like rooms that have a little more room. The piller in the center of the room does not help either. There were a few times when the room was a little cold, so take a light jacket or sweater. But if I had a choice I prefer a room on the cold side than a room that gets hot and stuffy. But the staff has done a great job with the room they have to work with.

Most of the players are tourist with only a few local players mixed in. There was a mix of good and bad players, some were there just to gamble, so with a little patience these players were there for the taking.

All of the dealers were great with the exception of one dealer. I spent five days at TI and each day I was there this same dealer would either make mistakes or was disrespectful to his supervisor. On two seperate occasions this dealer misread hands, with one time a player mucking his hand before he realized that the dealer misread the hand. Granted the player should not have mucked his hand before reading the board himself, put you would also hope that dealers would pay attenton to what they were doing. I think that was one of the problems with this dealer, he was more interested in things that were going on around the room then he was in the game he was dealing. With the exception of this one dealer all the others were great and went out of there way to make each player feel welcomed. The dealers did a great job of asking each new player if they had a players card, and if they didn't they offered to have one be made.

The cocktail service was pretty good overall. A couple issues I had were that on one night I was ordering Kahlua and Creams and the drinks were very weak, then when there was a waitress change so I ordered one last one thinking that the bartenders may have also changed, and I think I was right beacuse the last one that arrived was one of the strongest ones I have ever had. So it all depends on who is making the drinks. There were also a few times when it seemed that it took a while for drinks to arrive and these were at times when it was not busy. The waitresses were attractive and most of the time they were prompt in getting your drinks to you.

The management team for TI is great, and do a great job of running this room. I feel that the management is what has made this one of the best rooms on the strip. They go out of there way to make you feel comfortable. I think there willingness to go the extra mile has filtered down to the dealers and the training that the managemant has given the dealers is what makes this room so fun and freindly. I would also like to give extra thanks to Danette, when she read that that I would be staying at TI she asked me to make sure I introduce myself when I was in the room. When I arrived she remembered my name and greeted me everyday by name. I do not know too many other rooms that will go that far out of there way to make a non regular player fell that welcomed.

The comp system is great, with $2 an hour comps and high hand jackpots, this is one of the best comp deals in Las Vegas. Everytime you sit down the dealers will ask you if you have a players card so they can log you into there computer system, which is great, you do not have to worry about logging out because the dealers do everything right at the table. When you are ready to use your comp dollars, which can be used at any food establishment at TI, you just have to ask a floor person to print you out a voucher for the amount you would like to use at that time.
