Nice room, friendly staff, no action

I reviewed this room in April when it opened but wanted to give an update having been back. The room is still nice though some of the tables are getting worn. I stopped by several times over four days and there was a lack of players every time. At best they had two tables going. Never saw the mixer game.

Some decent players, some throwing money in the pot wildly. A few of the players were on staff.

Very fast getting drinks and actually stayed around to get everyone's order.

They have some of the nicest (and prettiest) managers of any room in town. They offered to try to start a game and take my cell number to call me if they got a game going and offered bonus comps to people who started a game. Two issues -- I bought it for $400 in the 1-3 NL game and they gave me all $5 chips, no $1. Somewhere in my review, someone has to take the blame for the lack of players. Really I think it's one level above the floor management. In terms of running the room, organizing wait lists, answering questions, this staff is 4.5, but I ding them hard for lack of action.

Maybe the best in town. I think the standard is the $1/hour, but often had $2 or even $4/hour at times to get action going. They really need to advertise this better.
