Outstanding Room

This room is on the smaller side (9-10 tables), but it is away from the hustle and bustle of the casino. It is a true 'room' as opposed to what I have seen in Bally's, Paris, etc. For regular players, it was positioned incredibly well, as it is across from the 'Mystere' show exits. People do seem to come out of the show, and 'give poker a try'. The tables/chairs are in great shape, and there are flat screens all over the room for any sporting event you are looking for while playing. I have no idea why this place isn't packed on a regular basis.

There is only 1 or 2 locals at any no limit table at any time, and they are very easy to spot. The rest are either inexperienced tourists, or just bad. The buy-in is capped at $500 at the 1/3 level, but people seemed to have plenty more when re-loading. The only downer is lack of people. At times, there was only one no-limit game going, with the rest at 2/4 limit. They run $60 tourneys all day, and those seem to draw a decent following all day/night.

If you play insanely long hours as I do, dealers personalities can make or break your mood. The TI dealers are fantastic, as they have a good feel for the table personalities at any given time. I played here for a week when the room first opened, and now 7 months later, I saw all the same dealers. That says a lot about the quality of both the room, and the dealers here.

I cannot give a 5 here. Although the waitresses were around often, the glass sizes sucked. I hate to hold that against the room, as they probably have no control over it, but the glasses for mixed drinks, sodas, etc were very small. On the plus side, the ladies are above average looking, around often, and they will get you anything you wish (red bull, any beer, etc).

10 on a 5 scale. I saw some of these guys at the Mirage way back when, and they run a great room at TI since moving over and opening this room. They make all feel welcome, have total control over the room, take care of the regulars...I cannot say enough about Chris, Troy, Danette, etc. Good people. Also, they will spread any game, at any limit you wish.

While I was there it was $2 an hour. If you combine a lot of hours in the room, with the great restaurants at TI, you will be eatin good!
