Spacious, comfortable seating, nice decor, etc. Easily the classiest room on the Strip. Easy to get outside for a quick breath of fresh air, which helps with the only downside ... the ubiquitous perfume-scented air throughout the casino.
Definitely a mixed bag of tourists and locals, some of whom profess that they make their living at the tables. Certainly easier games on the Strip (MGM, PHo) but also other rooms with tougher competition (Bellagio).
Very competent dealers, only a couple of misdeals during an 8 hour tournament and a couple of hours of cash play. Mostly quiet, efficient; would be nice if some of them were a little more friendly but no real complaints.
Very friendly and efficient service. When the room was very busy, it took a little while for them to get around but no really long waits. Very attractive!
The management makes this place stand out above the rest. They keep simultaneous tournaments and cash games running, manage the wait list well, make quick and effective floor rulings, and
$1/hour and can apply to food and table massages as well. Also, their poker room rate is very reasonable for the high quality rooms at the Venetian, Palazzo, and Venezia.
