The room is beautiful inside, lots of space, tonnes of tables, comfortable chairs, restrooms nearby.
I played between 1am and 8am at two $1/2 tables (first one broke). The first table was fairly tight overall, no straddles, not a lot of people drinking alcohol, there were a couple of locals, but there were a couple of fish. When the table broke at about 5am, it turned out to be a good table change, the new table had about 5 people at it that appeared to have come to play after the bar. Myself and two others moved over. The 5 were straddling everytime and one guy was raising 50% of his hands or more. They struck me as actually probably being good players, but just playing more for fun while intox. It was a somewhat interesting dynampic in that around 7 three players joined in as some of the drinkers left, the 3 new players were fresh and had just woke up. After the table started to fill with more alert players, I figured it was my time to leave after having made a buy-in and I pulled the pin at 8am.
Dealers were all knowledgeable, courteous, and on the ball in the general.
While I stuck to the free bottled Fuji Water and Red Bull, I saw a wide assortment of drinks being ordered. I was talking to a couple of players who (and the reviews on this site reflect this) said the Venetian is the best in Vegas for cocktail service.
$1/hr for each hour of play, std.
