I am going to say excellent but really I think it should be a 4.5. The room is big and roomy. The tables are the best in town that I have played at but the chairs are showing wear and tear and should be replaced as they are wearing down. The biggest issue I have with this room however is the restroom location and the tourist gauntlet you need to dodge to get to them. Overall though it is hard to do much better than this room.
This room is not for the recreational player or average player if you are hoping to win. I played 4 straight days from early morning to late at night and the 1/2NL game is pretty tough unless you know what you are doing. It is still beatable but if you are used to playing in weaker rooms and making basic plays to win pots you will be challenged to do so here. Most tabbles will have 6-8 solid players (local and visitors).
The 4/8LMT I played on both Friday and Saturday nights was very soft and beatable by any player that is not a complete novice. This game appears to be the one attracting the majority of recreational players IME.
Very good and solid. They kept the game moving and many hand good personalities which can make your card dead session a bit more enjoyable.
The best drinks with lovely and friendly servers. Service is very frequent during all shifts. One observation is that about 25% of all casino servers seemed to be pregnant during my stay which is not an issue but it seemed way more evident than any other trip. Must have been something in the water.
Very friendly and helpful with all questions, requests or issues.
Standard $1/hr which would get them and average rating but the poker rate issues I had at check out really turned me off on this trip (see posting in Hotel section of forum for more detail).
