The room is spaced perfectly, with nobody bumping into you and plenty of room at the tables. You can get up and walk around without having to brush up against people's backs and you can walk out of the room with ease. The waiting area with sofas and magazines is great, too. The chairs are extremely comfortable and the tables are all very high quality. The decor and the atmosphere is extremely nice. Overall it just feels like a really classy, swanky cardroom. Plus, the tournament structures are terrific. I saw at least one professional who has made some televised final tables (J.J. Liu) so that is an indication of the quality of the room that a $150 buyin tournament could attract that level of player.
I found the players at the noon daily tournament to be a mixed bag: some players were quite good, but others were either too aggressive with marginal hands or inexperienced. The cash game play was pretty solid, but not spectacular. Everyone at my table knew what they were doing and there were not a whole lot of big pots. I was able to make about $30 an hour playing solid poker over the course of a couple days.
The dealers were very friendly and did a good job enforcing the rules during the tournament. I thought a ruling was mishandled during a cash game when an all-in player was allowed to keep a few $5 chips after he simultaneously pushed his whole stack in and said "call" after I had bet, but that was a minor error. There were no other mistakes that I saw and the dealers were efficient.
The drinks came around pretty quickly given the size of the room and the number of people playing. Red Bull in a can was great and the drinks were always correct. Waitresses were friendly and efficient. All in all very good service from the drink staff.
I had no problem entering the tournament or getting seated quickly in a cash game. A game was put together from the wait list right away and quickly filled the next two open seats. Management was friendly and did a good job running the tournament.
I did not inquire about comps but I think given the room quality the service is already pretty solid.
