It's the Venetian so you know youre in for a treat. Very nice room, you definetely like youre in a quality poker room. It's under the escalator and very close to the sportsbook therefore it has a nice location
I play in San Diego and the standard NLHE game is 1-3. They offer 1-2's but it's a $20-$60 buy-in. When I arrived at the Venetian and saw the 1-2 NL I wasnt too excited but that was until I realized the buy-ins were $100-$300. The competetion is semi easy at these 1-2's. I'll probably play their 2-5 on my next trip, I'm assuming it's a lot tougher
Didnt notice any mistakes so thats good. Friendly staff.
After I was done with my last session, I just railed a friend and decided to go all-in with drinks. They have everything, and if you ask nicely/tip at night you can convince the pretty waitresses to bring you two drinks at a time. They even do wine :)
Kept the games going and broke games when players didnt want to play short-handed instantly. They take care of your players card if you dont have one.
The standard $1/hr. I asked about a room rate and they said something in the $140 range for rooms under $400. It's the Venetian so it's a steal IMO. I ended up accumulating $19 hours in two days and got myself some food at the table.
