The room is in good condition: Clean tables, comfortable chairs, clean surroundings. Close tie for the nicest room in vegas, the other being Bellagio.
I cant stress this point enough: If you are a casual player, or someone who thinks that you know how to play poker, then this place is 100% not for you. You have to know how to play profitable poker, or you are surely doomed. Here is a good measure: If you cant quickly calculate your outs/odds, then you shouldnt play here. I am a fairly solid player and I found it incredibly difficult to turn a profit on any session. Lots of really good tight players here will just grind and grind until the sucker comes along. The problem is that there are only about 2 or 3 suckers at the table. And if they aint sloshing their chips around, the good players with chips will just request a table change. The few times that I did manage to get my chips in against a sucker, I lost. First time, I flopped top set on 1-2 game, after raising 15 preflop. I get one caller, so there is 32 in the pot. After I hit top set I bet out $30, hopping that this idiot has two pair. He raises me to $180 even. I've got about $260 behind, so I go all in. He calls and just stares at the board. When an ace comes on the river, he stands up and says "I got the nut flush, ship it." Here is the best part: The flop didnt produce a flush draw. He only had middle pair on the flop. I had about 3 or 4 hands like this and it made me want to puke and quit poker.
So my point is this: You are either gonna get reall solid players, or if you are willing to log 30 hours of play, you can end up like me and get 3 or 4 chances to pop a donkey. I lost on all of my chances. I just had the worst luck. But even if I did when all 4 of those hands, I still wouldnt be back. It took way to long to get those chances.
No issues here. Dealers were all very efficient and precise.
Great service. Free red bull and figi (sp?) waters.
No issues here.
If you log 6 hours a day, you qualify for a poker room discount, which amounts to about $50 off the basic suite. The rooms are nice, so this was a pretty good deal. You also get $1 an hour in food comps, and you can order and eat at the table, so that was pretty nice.
