This room raised the rake in December and now has the highest rake in Vegas. You don't even get any promotions with the higher rake. Also unlike some places with higher rake, you're not going to get a crazy atmosphere and having no promotions makes the room seem more serious so it's going to be different than playing at a place like Planet Hollywood when they had a $5 rake.
Comps were also cut in half a few months ago and several other moves were made to show that they don't care about poker players anymore. It's a shame because this used to be such a great room and it used to want poker players.
I still don't think the games are soft here compared to other rooms so if you're looking for a sea of fish, I'd recommend a different room that will treat you better.
