Very elegant room. Well decorated, nice atmosphere, and very comfortable chairs.
I played 4/8 LHE and 4/8 HORSE. The LHE competition was fairly easy with a few calling stations at each table, so playing TAG should make you some money. As for HORSE, I suck at stud so I found the competition there somewhat more difficult but it should be very beatable for at least an average stud player.
Most dealers were very friendly and chatty while keeping the game running at a nice pace. I only had one dealer that had some errors (I don't remember her name). She almost dealt us a flop in stud and in the stud/8 round almost let a player get away with a double bet with an open pair on 4th street
Venetian really earns the 5 here. I was very impressed with their beer selection (Sierra Nevada Pale Ale!) since most other rooms carry only the very major brands. The few mixed drinks I got were very delicious too, and I was quite surprised to see they serve Fiji water. As for the waitresses, they are some of the best looking on the strip.
They ran the list well and got me seated + got my chips very quickly. Their rulings on the few hands on which needed rulings were correct, at least in my opinion.
I don't have the card, so I did not get any comps.
