On holiday in Las Vegas for the week and tried Bellagio,Ceasurs Palace,Bally's and the Venetian cars rooms and overall the Venetian was my favourite place to play.I normally play 1-2 ,1-3 or 2-5 No limit Holdem and found the games at this level tough to beat to be honest as lots of very good regular players who basically are super patient and experienced against holiday/tourist types and that edge makes them tough to beat.The promotion at Venetian is excellent ($1000 an hour high hand and $600 an hour random seat giveaway) and this is a very good offering.
The whole card room at Venetian is well run and I liked the seating /lighting but the air conditions can be fierce so take a fleece.
One strange thing to say was on another table - a player was grinding a one dollar poker chip in his teeth ( as you do) and it broke in two.He went to cash desk to get it replaced and security was called and he got barred from ever playing in Venetian again as was deemed to be breaking hotel property- very harsh in my opinion but that's what happened.
