This room is hands down the most elegant, luxorius and comfortable room in the world (nearest competition, the new room at Foxwoods). From the suede felt to the 6-inch cushion chairs, this is an extremely nice place.
Ok, I had two separate sessions of 4/8 limit (only game they were spreading as the room just opened), my first session had a good mix of players and I made a small profit. The second session however, was filled with Japanese and Mexican tourists (I am not being racist so don't take this the wrong way, they are just very inexperienced) and I kept getting cracked on the river with strong hands. I do have to mention a hand my friend was involved in with a Japanese gentleman; My friend held A-A with a board of A-3-3-5-K, the Japanese gentleman was holding 3-5 off. They went back and forth on the river for 13 bets!!! The pot was well over $350 and this is an example of when being an inexperienced player can be very un-profitable, except of course, if your my friend.
A lot of new dealers because the room is no new.
Hands down some of the most attractive (well-endowed) waitresses on the strip, makes up for the slowish service.
Nice people.
