What a Poker Room

This is a top of the line Poker Room and definitely my favorite so far. Super spacious room that was filled but you wouldn't even know it. The tables are spaced out so that you can actually get up from a table and not feel as though you are going hit anyone with your chair. The tables were in good shape and the chairs were very comfortable. The whole decor was just upscale and you feel you are playing in a place that is a notch above the other rooms. Plenty of plasma televisions around the room. It was exciting playing here.

The competition was definitely a little tougher here than other places I played. At my table were some good players with a mix of professionals, regular players and tourists.

I noticed a mix here. Most of the dealers had personalities but a few were just there. They kept the game flowing. Not very many mistakes but one that was critical was when I called all in on a hand and before the other player called the dealer exposed the river card. All the players at my end heard me call it but the dealer said she didn't. Management was called over to the table and straightened it out. I never heard a dealer ask anyone for a player's card but I offered mine up and they had someone take it to check in desk to log it.

Waitresses seemed to be working hard. I ordered just a few drinks while playing. For such a big room I thought they came around often enough. They also offer food service to your seat which is nice.

For such a large place they do a decent job. I got the electronic players list right away and had to wait about 20 minutes. I asked about their player's card and they directed me to the other side of the room. They had a person soley doing cards and this was near a seperate check in for tournament play. It appeared they kept track of table change requests on paper and I specified a table and they moved me as soon as an opening came up. I met a friendly guy at the end of my session who answered my questions and gave me my comps.

I received $1.50 in comps per hour of play which was decent. There were no jackpots but they don't rake anything for the jackpots either. My friend hit a royal flush and received a free jacket.
