The room is really nice looking and the tables are some of the best around, but there is no one playing there. The room is too open to the casino and front doors and it's miles from the valet or parking area. They need to build some walls up to separate it more from the casino and break up the gymnasium like feel. There were also only 4 tables out of about 40 going. If this place doesn't start attracting players, I expect the Venetian to close this room or severely downsize it in the next 6-12 months.
The competition seemed very easy at the $4/8 level; which was the only game going besides a no limit game.
The dealers were friendly but TERRIBLE and SLOW. They must have just recruited these guys out of dealer school! I actually had to instruct one dealer on how a guy could "buy the button" when he entered the game in the blinds....whew...bad!
They were slow and sometimes slower. Didn't notice any that were particularily attractive.
I say below average because of the higher class nature of this place. They are miles behing the Mirage and Wynn who are thier direct competitors for players.
I think one dollar an hour which is average for the strip.
