Most of the players were local folks. It was an older crowd with a few younger players mixed in. It was a friendly crowd in relaxed play mode. Most were not difficult to read. The 1/2 no limit was more competitive.
The dealers knew what they were doing and friendly, but not to the point of chatting while you were in a hand. Most of them had a nice pace that was relaxing.
They covered the room, even with only a few tables playing. The bar was right around the corner and it didn't take long to get a refill.
We were only there a few days and it took the managers very little time to know who we were and what we liked to play. Very accommodating.
Binion's has a high hand pay out that adds a bit of excitment in each hand.
