Excellent layout and furnishings in the room with plenty of elbow room. Has a very old-school feel due to the historical pictures of the old days of poker.
I only played there one afternoon on this trip and the cash games were limited (one table each of 1/2 NL and 2/4 limit). My table was mainly regulars, including Norm who has played there for years. They all seemed so friendly that it was kind of hard to take money from them - but I did. I made a little over $100 in about an hour or so and parlayed that into a tournament entry (busted out).
Rick and Chris are still there. I remember them rorm playing there much of my last trip 2 years ago. Very friendly atmosphere with the dealers.
Cocktail waitress always available. When I asked for "mineral water", she thought I said "marijuana" which had the whole table chuckling. On my next order, I requested methamphetamines.
Although the room was not very busy, the podium floor seemed stressed out and this detracted from the otherwise cordial and friendly atmosphere.
I think it was still $2 per hour but I didn't play long enough to accumulate very much.
