The room is well laid out with a generous number of tables for touraments in a separate area and a dozen tables or so for the cash games. The decor is old and run down, but it feels like the old style poker room that it is.
You see alot of the same locals every day, but you also get the flow of tourists who just have to come to the place that made poker famous, so the games are very beatable.
I love these guys and gals. They always look like they took their shirts out of yesterday's hamper, but they are funny and grisled and they know how to run a poker table. I also love that many of them play as well as deal. At one tournament, I knocked a guy out of the tournament and an hour later he was dealing to me at the final table. Only at Binions...
Waitresses won't be blessing the cover of Playboy any time soon, but the drinks come as often as you ask for them.
Again, the managers are grisled veterans. They understand that they are there to keep the players happy and they do their best to get people seated. They are also willing to spread whatever game you like as long as you have interested players.
