The tables were VERY worn, carpet was dingy, chairs uncomfortable and lighting poor. The atmosphere is what you would expect 15 years ago in a poker room but I wouldn't change a thing!
The tournament I played at Binion's was mostly locals who play their all of the time. These people knew what they were doing and did it well. That being said they are beatable.
These are some EXCELLENT dealers! Most of these old guys had been with Binion's for years and really knew what they were doing. One old cowboy looking dealer sat down and began speaking to a Japanese player in his own language... quite impressive. They were friendly and could be quite funny.
The one poor waitress in the room ran herself to death but did a fine job of it. They need to hire more help and shoot for young and hot.
The tournament management was excellent but what do you expect from the home of the World Series? These people know how to hold a tournament.
I didn't ask.
