I like Downtown so I like the poker room. Spacious, quiet, set off from the casino. It's not the strip, but for Downtown it's fine.
Lots of loose tourists. Some are calling stations, others are action players playing any two cards. If you grind with tight solid play you'll come out a winner, but you'll take your share of bad beats.
No misdeals while I played. Some of the dealers are characters and talkers. Tables had shufflemasters so play was fairly quick.
Hit or miss. Sometimes the service was good, but I can remember several times where drinks were forgotten, or people at the table were complaining because the cocktail waitress hadn't been around for a while.
Management had a good handle on the games and the tourneys. Plus I made sure to go to the room when my game was available so didn't have to wait on a list.
Didn't ask.
