Bad, bad, bad!

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU’RE A POKER PLAYER! The greedy casino owners do not give 2 ***** about you! Believe me, I know.

I played here nonstop for most of the last year and a half, and they only give poker players one dollar an hour toward food comps! That means you have to play 5 hours just to get a measly side of French fries.

Half of the automated card shufflers are broken and Caesars doesn’t want to spend the money to fix them.

The chairs are the 2nd most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in - 2nd to Greyhound bus station chairs. I had to use a seat and back cushion just to sit in them for any length of time.

Also, it’s always freezing in the poker room. An older regular brings a thermometer in with him and he said one day it was 63 degrees!

The poker chips stick together and are in desperate need of a cleaning.

The worst thing about this sardine can of a room is that some of the Floormen and dealers can do anything they want without consequence.

I had a dealer gyp me out of $75, and then when I rightfully non-tipped him for the pots that he wasn’t able to gyp me out of, he started whining and being obnoxious. When I spoke to the higher ups about this, I was given a $75 food comp, which was nice, but to my knowledge the unprofessional dealer was not reprimanded in any way as he should have been - mainly because the poker manager can only do so much because they’re handcuffed by the useless casino owners.

Another incident that happened was that I was harassed for simply switching seats at the same table! I wish I was making this up. The floorman got on me thinking I had switched tables, but I didn’t switch tables, I only switched seats at the same table. He got all over me, and when the dealer told him that I had been there the entire time and the floorman realized he was wrong, he gave me a worthless “oh, sorry.”

My advice is if you’re in the Kentuckiana area and want to play poker, go play at Club Jaqk in Louisville. You’re actually appreciated and welcomed there and won’t be harassed or jipped out of money.
