My wife & made a trip down to Southern Indiana to check out Ceaser's during our Christmas vacation. The casino is a nice place over all. The poker room was a bit of a disappointment. As of this writing, there is no cage in the poker room, so you would need to walk across the casino to the main cage to get chips, or to cash out. I played in the 1/2NL game for a little while, but was not very impressed on how the game was handled.
Straddles are allowed from any position, & what seems for about any amount. A couple different players had straddled a different times, one for about $10, and another later for about $12 both were neither UTG or on the Button. I'm not a fan of straddle games, but this was ridiculous, especially for a $1/$2 game.
At the end of my short couple hour session, I ended up breaking even. My wife & I headed home soon after. On our way home, we ended up at Hard Rock in Cincinnati, were I crushed the $1/$3 game that night.
Staff at Ceasar's was friendly, & drinks seemed reasonable for a casino. Not a place I would play regularly, but it would be a nice poker room to play a few hands once in a while.
