Don't bother going to WPT at Choctaw this year, to say it's a cluster F is an understatement. Their dealer pool is short by over 50% due to low wages and they are working the dealers that did show up 14 hours straight so most likely a bunch of them will quit too in the coming days making the situation even worse.
On top of that WPT is being grossly mismanaged as well: There are lines that last hours after the start time and the employees walking around are not kept in the loop by WPT as to which line is for what tournament. People were waiting in line literally not knowing if they can sign up or not once you get to the cage. Worse yet they won't let you sign up for the later flight of the day because it's "sold out" and you gotta wait in line for 3 hours until someone gets knocked out and then they will sign you up as an alternate.
Did I mention the 7pm deep stack tournament got canceled without any notice or online posting?? And 5pm tournament is now 6pm?
One of the worst run tournaments and it's giving a really bad name to WPT. Will not be back for their other events since their dealer pool will only go down from fatigue and lack of appreciation (for the only 20 minute break the poor dealers had, management bought them pizza and had the audacity to announce over the speaker that they can eat only 2 slices each).
