I'll preface by saying that Encore's poker room is gorgeous and spacious. Management is fair and does a great job at keeping things flowing.
I do have a few gripes and see a few things to make my once a week experience much better. I'm OK with a fairly expensive rake but please make player comps more desirable. Have some sort of self-service kiosk or info on your website where players can see earned comps. Drink service is still pretty slow while there is a pretty high turnover of waitstaff. Some of the table USB charging ports are broken and need to be repaired/replaced (inexpensive and easy to do). Open an extra cage cashier during peak times. I do like to kick it down at limit HE sometimes. Seems only 4/8 runs sparsely. Bring back 3/6 which attracts beginners/rec players and you'll have these tables running around the clock. 4/8 is pretty high for someone to start to learn at. None of this stuff is rocket science.
Self-parking garage is sometimes full and a problem during busy periods. It's not limited to the poker room but the casino as a whole. There have been a few Sunday nights where I drive up to a car cue and then later be told to turn around (to go back home).
Encore's poker room has the potential to be the envy of all others but it's not there yet.
