Ok, rake is high... we know. I enjoy the layout of the room, and the Mgt has handled every incident that I have witnessed with Decisiveness & Professionalism. Usually plenty of Action here, with a good Rec/Reg ratio imo. I don't mind playing with Regs, as long as they aren't trying to turn 1/3 into 5/10, which has only happened twice.
This room simply gets its bad juju from the rake, but it's not something that would deter me from participating at this location. If they didn't have 10-15 tables always running, perhaps I'd feel differently.
Chip Cage in Poker Room is for purchases only... thats kinda foolish. Also, no ability to purchase chips at the table, or not having chip runners is also kinda weak. Fri/Sat nights, you could be waiting 20+ min to cash out.
I'm an old Foxwoods fan, but funnily enough, I haven't been there since 2016/17.. does Encore live up to Prime Foxwoods Poker Room (2003-2015 era)? Na... but that's a hard bargain, living up to that. All I can say is that I have enjoyed my experiences there, over the past 6-8 months, and I plan on continuing to utilize this establishment as my go-to Poker location.
