I can't stop laughing while reading about the players who honestly believe they deserve a lower rake, more tables and claim Encore doesn't know how to do business. I love poker and that room was amazing! The staff was the absolute best and there will never be another room like that ever.
The casino can't support a 60+ table poker room. The gaming floor is too valuable for a room that size. Sure it was full prior to Covid but do you honestly think they would have all those tables today if there wasn't a shutdown? Would it be more than 12? Probably but the parking situation is a real thing.
What people also don't realize is simple supply and demand, 12 tables at $10 rake is a brilliant move for them. They are making the equivalent of a 20-22 table poker room with such a small labor expense and dependency from other departments.
Less security, less waitresses, less cage staff, less hassle. We all remember the crazy lines trying to cash out. That was due to staffing. Anyone who knows anything about Casinos and Math, know that poker makes the least amount of money in the casino. I hate the argument of well the players eat drink and stay and they don't take into account that aspect. Yes they do you idiots. Your telling me slot and table players don't eat or sleep? What are they cyborgs? They spend more money than you poker players. One baccarat table can make more in 1 day than 60 poker tables in a month! C''mon people use your heads.
Players this casino owes you nothing, there a business and they are doing exactly what they need to do to make $$. Your still going to go, your still going to play and your still going to @#$%.
