Hard to figure this poker room out … from the Monday-Thursday 10am-8pm hours, the ridiculously 2x normal rake & only 12 tables available for a major market city like Boston. It’s equivalent to going to Fenway & there are only 4000 seats available, game days are Monday-Thursday, day games only that start at 1:00pm and the cost for tickets is 2x what they are now. My guess is they did not like the pre-Covid crowd that was playing poker & wanted to keep things simple post Covid & cater more to the high end crowd & retired people. That will never be their answer when asked the question, but that’s what it looks like to me & is a real shame for the Boston area residents & people who vacation in the area and have no option to play poker in a room that use to be one of the best poker rooms on the east coast.
