I was there on a Friday early afternoon. Got right on a 1/3 NLHE table. Was there for a couple of hours, at least long enough to cycle through 5 dealers. 2 of the dealers were OK. 2 were meh, kind of slow but at least accurate. One , the last one, was borderline terrible. Slow, made many mistakes, had limited English skills. After she dealt 4 or 5 hands I had seen enough. Time to go.
Having said that, beverage service was pretty good. Comfortable chairs, well lit. Got my parking validated. Players were average to above average.
What Encore needs is some tourneys. Sit n' go's, multi tables etc. If Encore really wants to take business away from the NH poker rooms or Foxwoods/Mohegan, they need tourneys.
And my basic math skills indicate that they would make as much or more as the rake $$ doing tourneys...
