It's about the action. Don't forget that. Don't let all this drama and mismanagement get in the way. Here's the good news. 1/3 is now 500 max. Instead of 300. Means the softest game can get deeper and Thsts where the $$ is. Bigger mistakes. Same with 2/5. 700 was a joke. Now at least it's $1k which is on par with Tampa HardRock. The 5/10 which is my game could benefit from at least a 2500 cap like they have at National Harbor. The game will still be soft for a while. Once they take the time limit off and add some tables there is the foundation for this room to be great again.
All the good dealers left for Florida and Texas. Do you blame them? Massachusetts with its mandates drove all the people with common sense away. Lock down a poker room for 18 months and of course you're gonna loose your dealer base. This is probably the single denominator on how large this room can be again. Think about it. If you're dealing and making $xx/hr wouldn't you want to live somewhere a bit more affordable? I give it 5 stars for the potential. Still has a great clean feel to the room. Games will increase. Time limit will lapse. And the rake - that will normalize too. In a year this place will be back to business. Smaller, sure. But it will still be a good room
