At one point this room had so much going for it. It could have been a fixture in the American Poker landscape.
Now it is simply a mockery. I can't think of one reason why people would continue to patronize this place anymore. I used to frequent Encore sometimes as much as 3 times a week. I would eat there on occasion and play other games as well. The amazing Poker room itself was the draw to get me there. That has all changed now.
Why any self respecting Poker player would want to sit in a rinky @#$% room surrounded by buzzing slots and management who create every annoying condition for the player possible is beyond me. The rake is obscene, the wait times are stifling, dopey downstairs cage cashout, and the idiotic hours rival those of visiting hours in a nursing home.
The bottom line is it's painfully obvious they don't value our patronage by the choices they've made. Playing Poker here is a losing proposition every time you step in the door. You will be losing more time (Atlas sign in times are stupid long) and money (via the insane rake) without fail by playing here. I'd give this version of the room zero stars if I could.
