So disappointed....
I have a video of Jenny Holaday from mass gaming commission website from November 2021 stating poker room will be STARTING out w/ 12 tables
MONDAY - FRIDAY (not Monday-Thursday) approximately in February.
They basically were saying this is our STARTING position and see where it goes - well, they already took away Fridays (lmao) and the waiting list on the first day of poker this week was over 100 players waiting to play (all 12 tables FULL within an hour) and on a MONDAY!!!)
What does this tell you... you need more poker tables and a variety of games... let's hope you rectify this within a month or we will NEVER step foot in here again. I'm glad we used up all our comp points this summer/fall... our crew that goes to the casino consisted of only 2 poker players and everyone else played blackjack, roulette or slots... so you lost out on all of us.
We were all excited to return to Encore so we actual booked rooms for 2 nights on the weekend in March thinking the poker room would be open 7 days by then and til at least 1am - like Foxwoods or Mohegan (2am) & 4am on weekends.
We'll give Encore until the end of February to hopefully resolve or update us - and if things don't change, we will be canceling our expensive rooms and never return. Playing poker until 7:45pm is unacceptable when you are staying there 2 nights.
I will also be posting this same review on other sites such as TripAdvisor and Google and Yelp.
It kills me to leave such a bad review since we always enjoyed going to Encore in 2019 and stopped going to Foxwoods/Mohegan- but you need to hear the truth. And the $10 rake? Another joke.
