A Good Bet

Unlike some other casinos in Vegas, this is an actual room that is sectioned off from the rest of the casino creating a very quiet atmosphere. It's pleasant with all the TVs, high ceilings, and a "hall of fame" of sorts. The tables were very nice, but the chairs weren't great. I really enjoyed this room.

It's not the toughest crowd in town, but the majority of players came to play. There were a few locals in the $40 11am tournament, but they were just high egos and low skills--one of them was laughing at me for the first hour and a half for my playing style, but I was the one who finished the laugh when I took his chips and eliminated him from the tournament. Also quite a few vacationers, but the majority of them at least had some skill.

Dealers were talkative, helpful, and friendly. During tournament breaks we shared stories.

Waitress was cute and was constantly attending to the players throughout the time I was there. Getting a drink was never a problem.

An older-set gentleman ensured every player was satisfied and quickly rectified the situation if there was a problem. He was also very friendly.

I never asked nor was I ever offered any.
