It was my first time in a Vegas poker room, but I was very impressed. I was there during the big east tourney and was happy to be able to watch the games. The only bad thing was that it seemed very cold in there to me.
Played in the 11am tourney on a sunday, there were some really good players and some REALLY bad players. Finished 11 out of about 70. Then i got in a 1/2 NL game with some fish. Made $250 in about half an hour then left. One kid just kept pullin out money and throwing it away.
No mistakes while i was playing. Frank the tank made me a lot of money, and they seemed to get friendlier as they were tipped more......
Never had to wait, seemed like they were always around.
The tourney ran very smoothly, only once did it seem like the tables were off balance for too long, but besides that he was quick to move players when needed. Started a 1/2 NL game once he had 5 people waiting, and didnt mind me sitting at an empty table to watch a game the next day when the sports book was packed.
Jackpots seemed ok. Drinks came fast and the waitresses didnt seem to mind the off the wall mixed drinks one kid was ordering
