Skip it - better atmosphere and games elsewhere.

Summary: Poker room is dark, smoky and attracts locals (dealers not working) looking to roll tourists. Highly recommend paying elsewhere.

Casino is very smoky with poor ventilation, therefore the poker area is horrible, second only to the golden nugget … if you’re sensitive to smoke this casino and poker room are going to be tough on you.

If you’re looking for a casual 1/2 game, be very cautious here as the uncapped buy in allows folks to buy in for whatever. I was there on a Friday night and a few locals (dealers off the clock) bought in for about 2k each (avg tourist is buying in for $100-$300), they then proceeded to sit at different tables and work the tourists over. The games were basically $40 - $60 blinds, not the $1 / $2 someone is looking to casually play. It’s a bully fest and they know exactly what they are doing; it killed the vibe. The other thing to be aware of since the resort sits at the end of the strip it doesn’t get casual traffic stopping through, the games are just dull and expensive.

The resort itself is great, grounds are well kept, reasonable check in (took 18mins), plenty of food options, clientele is good, the pool is fantastic, the rooms are ok (nothing special), and the elevators are secure (you need a key specific to your floor to access your floor).

Unfortunately due to the level of smoke in the property, poor ventilation, and second to worse poker room I’ve ever played in - I won’t be coming back and you won't miss much by skipping it. There are plenty of far better options on the strip that have a fraction of the smoke and great vibes.
