Excellent! I didn't venture into too many other poker rooms, but Mirage definetly has one of the best! With so many tables it can get a little congested when all of them are in use, but there was still sufficient room to move around. Non-smoking was a definte plus, although having 2 or 3 people sitting at the outside rail smoking wasn't good if you are seated at a table on the outside. I'll defintely be back! (in fact, I'll be there next week, 02/16-02/19).
I was playing $3/$6 limit and found that it varied from time to time. The table was usually filled with a mixture of newbies (myself included), some locals, and what surprised me, dealers. A different game when you are sitting at a table with 3 or 4 other dealers.
One or two seemed to prefer to be elsewhere. But overall, they were all friendly and I only recall seeing a flipped card once or twice during my time.
I never had a problem ordering drinks. The waitresses were very nice and relatively quick in returning with the order. I only was having water or juice. I found if you asked for water, they brought some "ozonated" water in a tiny bottle, but if you asked nicely they would bring spring water in a larger (green) bottle.
Very well organized with a clipboard at the front desk for the wait list. Managers helped move the list along and kept the place running very well. It was my first time in Vegas, so they answered all my questions. Even put on the Leafs game on the TV for me. :)
Was my first time in Vegas, so I was all too new and shy to ask about it.
