Overall, I liked the feel of the room--when I played there. The reason that I'm giving the overall rating just a 3 is that when I was there last, most nights I found no $10/$20 game. The tables are of good quality, but the seats, despite having adjustable height and swivel, are not comfortable to sit on for very long. On more than one occasion, my back began to ache after just a couple of hours.
I my limited experience at the $1/$2 NL limit game, I found 2 or 3 very tough players who were very capable of making a variety of moves and were very aggressive, and some more patient players who were skilled enough to pick them off. In the $10/$20 game (when I got to play it) I found it very aggressive; almost no hands went unraised preflop, making it a high variance game. If you are capable of adjusting your game and being aggressive with thin holdings, you can have success here. If you are at all timid, you will get run over in this game.
Dealers were mechanically good, and they ran the game well. They knew many of the players, and would converse with them.
Waitresses seemed to come around frequently to ask if anyone wanted drinks, and delivered them quickly.
Management tried really hard when I was there in August to get $10/$20 games going, less so in October. It was super cool to have the $10/$20 game set up in the elevated are in the corner; it made the game feel important. Floor folks knew many of the players too and would have friendly conversations. I was supremely impressed on my first week of visits when one floor person called me by name at the table, having just met me the night before for the first time. (As I am horrible at remembering names, someone who can do that with just occasional visitor to me is even more impressive.) I'm tempted to drop this to a "3" for the lack of a $10/$20 game considering that when I asked about it, the staff seemed entirely uninterested in actually having that game running.
I was told I got some comps for playing. Not sure how much or what I can get. Most places in the facility seem to be the typical overpriced pretentious "upscale" establishments that I typically avoid.
