$20 - $40, $10 - $20, $6 - $12 and $3 - $6 limit games, 1 table tournament, low and high no limit and daily tournaments as well gives every poker player a game they are looking for. The staff is excellent and the dealers are good with several entertaining dealers keeping the game lively. Room has one of the few stud games in the area as well.
On the weekends you get many tourists / new players which is good for the bankroll if you are playing low limit ($3- $6) games. Locals are around Sunday - Thursday and in the day time which makes the game tougher the remainder of the time. A couple of regulars at everygame I sat down at.
Dealers were good and several were very entertaining. Games were dealt well, didn't notice mistakes except for one which cost me probably $100. The dealer exposed a 6 as my second card (which was replaced with a queen). Normally I would have been happy but my first card was a 6 and a 6 came on the flop and I would have won the hand as jacks paired and nobody had a jack or pair which would have resulted in the nuts full house. Other than that, I was pleased with the dealers.
Drinks were very good and the waitresses were average on speed (due to the filled rooms) and above average on looks. If you are coming to drink and have a good time you will not be disappointed. In fact we had a couple of spills at our table Saturday night and they cut off the table for about a 1/2 hour - something I've never seen before in Vegas. Granted - everyone had a great time (well accept for the supervisor who had to babysit :)
Mirage runs a great game. The managers do a great job making everyone happy and filling up the tables. The list was run by hand but players were announced via the microphone and people were generally able to find a game within a few minutes with a max 15 minute or so wait in the busy weekend hours.
Took advantage twice of the $15 food comp good at four resturants (including their buffet) which is available after 5 - 6 hours of play and is good through the following day. The Mirage gives out "treats" at 5 am - halfway decent sandwiches (which are even better after an evening of drinking), pastries and fruit. No bad beat pots / jackpots or freerolls.
