Room was Ok, a bit on the larger side than most I've been in. The tables have that @#$% marble racetrack around the edge (like MGM). It makes the table seem smaller than it is.
Played 1/2 NL. After a hour or two, figured out who the bluffers and who the chasers were. Late in the evening had 3 guys all stumble in from visiting the strip club...easy money.
All were very experienced, some too experienced --- a few of the guys delt sooo slow and seemed so dis-interested in the game, hardly announced raises, how many players were in the hand, etc...I think we got maybe 10 hands out in thier half-hour downs (with auto-shufflers, they should be doing at least 18 to 20)
Fast and frequent, looks like they started their careers at the Mirage and were looking forward to retirement there...they must not have too much turnover in that department
Very dis-organized...when I walked in, the front podium has half the games, with signs on the TV directing you to go ot the back podium for the other games. Went to the back and found their were 2 back podiums...was re-directed by someone who was annoyed by my question. Then stood at the back podium for 5 minutes until someone came up to me. Seems like a lot of pople walking around in charge but no one doing anything or greeting new customers.
Was never asked for my MGM-Mirage players card and was never told about any promotions, so i gotta give it a 2 here. If I come back, it will be just for the fish, not the service.
