Room is full of tables and kept pretty clean. I like the atmosphere in here, this is poker in Vegas! The Mirage is my favourite hotel and this is my favourite room.
I will say a bit better than average. A mix of players with varying skills. I would not recommend a beginner try to get his or her feet wet in this room if it is their first attempt at live poker.
These are good dealers who are running a good game. I cannot recall mis-deals or any major problems. I was however, slightly intoxicated from time to time so at times the memories may be hazy. Were the dealers friendly? As friendly as any I suppose. Some better than others but I am not looking for a new best friend. I am there to win money and the best dealers are the ones who deal me the winning hands.
Orders were taken and delivered in a timely manner. Not lightning round speed but you don't want to be too drunk and start mistaking your diamonds for hearts do you? They served a pina colada when my stomach was too sore to drink screw drivers and I thought that was pretty swell.
Professional, friendly, and ran a list very well. They also did a good of setting up satellite tournaments quickly. No complaints.
No comps that I am aware of, no bad beat, no high hand. I'm sure you could get a line pass for the buffet. Perhaps on my next visit I will see if I can score a buffet. The rack rate for poker can be had for 8 hours a day. The rack rate is $99 weekdays, $149 weekends. Free finger sandwiches and pastries served after 3:00 am each night I was there. Enjoy!
