The room was pretty big and well maintained but smoke from the rest of the casino seeps into the poker room all night long. You might as well be playing in a smoking area.
I played 1-2 NL and 2-5 NL and about half the table in each game were locals most of whom were fairly tight. This is definitely not the most touristy game in town. As far as the actual gameplay, my 1/2 game was pretty standard but the 2/5 was very aggressive and the stacks were generally big. Some of the people at the table had been playing for a long long time with a stack of well over $2k.
Bland, no personality and rude. I think that pretty much sums it up. I think maybe one or two are ok but most I've seen are pretty bad. When a player made a mistake in the NL game, the dealer wouldn't explain what was done incorrectly. Another player had to step in and politely do that.
No complaints really. The waitresses are good looking but didn't come around all that often.
I've got very little experience in dealing with the management here but with so many locals playing in the room, it seems like management is much more eager to please the locals than the random tourist that wanders in with a wad of cash.
Comps?
