Although not very fancy, this is a very nice, comfortable room to play poker in. Tables are spaced well so you don't get the feeling of being a sardine like you do at Belagio. No electronic wait lists, auto shufflers, or other fancy bells and whistles, just a good old fashioned room with very professional staff.
I'd heard that the Mirage was a very tough room. Lots of locals at the tables who were familiar with eachother and the dealers. This was intimidating but overall they were not as tough as I had feared going in. That being said, overall the competition was better than most other places I've played.
Excellent dealers who knew how to keep the game rolling. No mistakes that I can recall in the several hours that I played. All were very friendly.
Drinks came at a pretty good pace. I only ordered water so I can't speak for how good they drinks were, but everybody seemed to be happy. Waitresses were friendly and attractive.
The woman running the signup sheet was very good, but other than that I did not have any interaction with management.
I am not aware of a comps policy. I asked if they took the MGM/Mirage card and was told that they did not.
