The room gets a little crowded during heavy traffic hours but I never had to wait long for a seat.
The competition is pretty bad here at the low limit games. Mostly calling stations and beginners. There are a few locals but they're not that good either.
There's always a few bad apples but I generally like the dealers at teh Mirage. Intresting group and good to talk too.
They never have enough waitresses in the poker room. Some have attitudes. Some are a little to old to be working there.
I love the mangement at the Mirage. I have played there for a week every 6 months for the last 2 years. On my second trip a few remembered me and now they all know me by name. I don't play higher thatn the 6-12 game so it feels nice to be noticed even though your not a high roller.
The only thing I know of is a room discount for poker players. Upon planning your trip call the poker room ask for the room rate and it's taken care of. You just have to give them a couple hours of play per day. Which I do anyway. A weekday room is usually $100-$150 it can be as low as $59 depending on the time of the year.
