The Mirage overall is showing a little age but that's mostly architecturally (low ceilings) and everything is in good shape with nice chairs and tables. I like the location of the room and the energy in a large room that's pretty well filled even on a weekday evening.
A lot of older local regulars who are typically tight/passive when I was there. No crazy donators and no real sharks.
Dealers were almost entirely of the stay quiet and deal efficiently variety. Only one graveyard dealer said anything to anyone beyond keeping the game moving so if you're looking for friendly/talkative you won't get it. They are mostly quick and efficient though which is what matters most.
Almost all the servers are 50+ so if you want hotties go to Venetian or Wynn but they're relatively attentive and nice enough. Had a waitress bring me an extra drink that they had made (same as what I had ordered before) and refuse an additional tip for it.
Sign up was quick and efficient and my limited dealings with them was nice enough. They were slow to 86 a player at another table who was doing more yelling and banging of chairs than I would expect them to tolerate but I gathered that he was regular who is normally friendly.
I don't much care about comps being only an occasional visitor but I do prefer the brush to ask if you have a card when they're seating you and they didn't. They did bring out some sandwiches and danishes for breakfast though.
