The actual room was nice, clean and the room was pleasantly spacious. Nice tables, comfortable chairs and pretty smart dealers.
As we only played a tournament it was hard to gauge the quality of the players. The tourny we played in was a couple of rocks but generally some very loose and dodgy players. I played there with my son who chopped the pot with a couple of locals.
I thought the dealers were really poor, they had to be corrected a few times by the players as mistakes were being made. Twice they missed a split pot, about 8 missdeals and one really moody bold headed bloke who thought he was Gus Hanson.
Not bad service here, polite cocktail waitresses with nice manners and smiles.
This was the worse of them all. When my son went to collect his winnings he was asked for ID, when he gave them his driving licence he was told that they did not reconise this as an actual form of ID. When we read them their rules back to them stating that "they required any form of photo ID", they just said tough. We told them to re-write their rules in english so all could understand in the future. The actual room manager would not even come out into the poker room to disscuss the matter, he sent some poor lacky out to tell us. In general the managment were poor, shouting across the room at each other, no one at the desk when people approached. Very poor.
Never asked about comps
